I just started off with mine and want to document my research process in case it helps anyone,

First start off with some learning like what are terms and how things generally work for first time purchase or investments and what complications may be ahead because of frequent changes to restrict fraud in real estate.

Below are few articles which I like reading and understand the basics,

Some info about credits,

As I am searching in GTA hence some sites to search for resale, new pre-constructions or coming up properly listings, make sure to register on individual projects to get the calls or more info as they are near launch,

This is just my start off and I will be updating this list as I am near to completion of my purchase and hope it helps someone like in my shoes. All the luck!

Cheers.

WordPress Tips: WordPress plugins to add featured image automatically and resizing tools

Apr 16, 2013   //   by contactng   //   Blogging Tips  //  No Comments

For bloggers who generally publish posts via emails or using MS office tools generally face challenges of utilizing the featured image WP feature as by default you need to set it manually. There are few good plugins available which can do this automatically for us using the image which we published in posts and found following useful plugins, currently I am on WP 3.5.1 and based on my needs and testing I choose Easy Add Thumbnail plugin, but it may vary with your needs, so find some of useful plugins below,

1. Easy Add Thumbnail

Link: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/easy-add-thumbnail/

Description and Review: It sets featured image from the first image from your post, for your old posts, whenever anyone open any old post, the first image automatically setup itself as featured image hence no rework necessary on old posts, moreover if you update any post without image with an image, then it will automatically set it as featured image. Setting it up is pretty easy, just install and activate :)

2. Simple Auto Featured Image

Link: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-auto-featured-image

Description: It automatically generates the featured image for a post, page or custom post type if it does not have one.

3. Auto Featured Image

Link: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/auto-featured-image/

Description: Automatically generate featured image for new/old posts if Post Thumbnail is not set manually. It also supports external images. This plugin has not been updated since year 2011; hence its working with latest WP is not verified.

Some other tools for image/thumbnails

4. Automatic Featured Image Posts

Link: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/automatic-featured-image-posts

Description: It creates a new post with a Featured Image every time an image is uploaded. Through the plugin settings page, you can set the image to publish and assign itself to one of your other existing custom post types and/or post formats. It is v. v. useful for photographers, who like to post large amount of images and would like to save on time in publishing posts.

5. AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild

Link: http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/ajax-thumbnail-rebuild

Description: It allows you to rebuild all thumbnails at once without script timeouts on your server. It is helpful when you are changing your Wp theme and would like tor esize your thumbnails to support new theme without impacting anything else.

6. Imsanity

Link: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/imsanity/

Description: Imsanity automatically resizes huge image uploads down to a size that is more reasonable for display in browser, yet still more than large enough for typical website use. The plugin is configurable with a max width, height and quality. When a contributor uploads an image that is larger than the configured size, Imsanity will automatically scale it down to the configured size remove the original image. Imsanity also provides a bulk-resize feature to selectively resize previously uploaded images to free up disk space. This plugin is ideal for blogs that do not require hi-resolution original images to be stored and/or the contributors don’t want (or understand how) to scale images before uploading.

Raynox DCR for 72mm lens

May 14, 2012   //   by NG   //   Photography Gears  //  No Comments
Raynox DCR-5320Pro: This is a native 72mm set of converters with a 2 and a 3 dioptre pair.

The DCR-5320PRO High Definition Macro Conversion lens is particularly designed to use with the high-end digital, film and hi-vision cameras, resulting in a resolution power of 200L/mm at center (MTF 30%) with a low dispersion. With the Macro lens attached on the camera’s lens, it makes possible to approach the object very close for macro shooting. The model consists of two independent lenses, one is with 2-diopter magnification and the other with 3-diopter. It also makes a 5-diopter lens by coupling the both lenses together. Taking advantage of using in three ways, you can shoot the object at the distances of either 50cm or 30cm or 17cm, depending upon the nature of a subject. All lens glass elements are fully coated for the maximum light transmits and fine image quality.
