Dimensions Of A Series Paper Sizes

The dimensions of the A series paper sizes, as defined by ISO 216, are given in the table below in both millimetres and inches (cm measurements can be obtained by dividing mm value by 10). The A Series paper size chart to the right gives a visual explanation of how the sizes relate to each other – for example A5 is half of A4 size paper and A2 is half of A1 size paper.

Lightroom has encountered problems reading this JPEG photo

In case you have encountered this error i.e. “Lightroom has encountered problems reading this JPEG photo“, then do following,

1. Run disk checker utility; if you are using Mac, then run disk utility and verify the disk, if you are lucky enough then disk utility will not display any error and you can proceed to next step, otherwise if it reports any error like “some bad sectors”, then you need to take immediate action, which should be taking backup of your files and fixing the disk error (for mac users, check my article to use Recovery HD on Lion)


Copyright and Other Restrictions That Apply to Publication/Distribution of Images

While searching for selling publishing rights to images taken by own camera but not authorized to sell, came across few good links which provide important information whicha photographer must be aware of, there are several cases where government or private agencies have put restrictions on publishing rights for certain type of photographs, so make sure you have appropriate rights before selling any right.
